This book isn’t just a retelling—it’s a deeper dive into the mind of a man shaped by war, haunted by his choices, and tested by powers far beyond mortal reach. This book draws inspiration from Homer’s original poem and the incredible Epic: The Musical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. I wanted to capture the weight of myth while making the story feel raw, personal, and grounded. It’s not just a fantasy epic—it’s a character study set against the backdrop of divine chaos. My goal was to create a version of the Odyssey that was easier to read, in a style that is more in line with the culture of today. I want you to have a near full understanding of the Odyssey, while leaving you some room to explore and learn for yourself after!
